Bayview Hotel Lima, Lima

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although small, was clean with a cute and large balcony, but it felt damp, and the carpet was stained. The service, while exceptionally friendly and helpful, lacked in providing enough towels. The location, although great for exploring the city, was affected by nearby construction noise. The dining options were below standard, with minimal choices and disappointing quality.

The hotel is nicely located in Miraflores, very safe for two ladies traveling alone even at night. The rooms were average with tatty bedding on small beds, facing an inner courtyard. The service staff is friendly and helpful, despite limited English skills. The dining options were subpar, lacking variety until 10 am. The hotel facilities were decent, offering dry cleaning and laundry services.

On the bright side, I had a queen size bed and a balcony which was a nice touch. The service was friendly and helpful overall, although not consistently. The location was excellent for exploring Miraflores and Barranco, offering a quiet retreat near the sea and the Larcomar shopping mall. The dining options were a bit lacking, with minimal and misrepresented offerings. Despite the downsides, the facilities were decent and somewhat made up for it.

Despite being a bit dark during the day, the room was big and the bathroom was beautiful, plus there was a lovely balcony to enjoy. The service was tremendously nice and helpful, although there was an attempt to charge me extra for arriving before check-in time when the room was ready. The location was top-notch, just a short 3-minute walk to Larcomar and the beach, and the staff was very friendly. The dining experience was not too good, with basic offerings and a need to call someone for service, yet the Teppanyaki fish was delicious. The facilities were decent but could use some improvements.
